All statements two or three witnesses shall confirm.
Be warned - coming this third time, with sin I'll be stern -
Since you seek proof Christ speaks thru me, whose strength He gives
In you, for, crucified weak, in God's strength He lives.
In Him we're weak, but live, by God's pow'r, to serve you.
Examine yourselves - are you counterfeit or true?
I trust you know we're true, and pray you do no wrong,
For your sakes, not ours, that you be complete and strong.
I write these things lest coming I sharpness employ,
For the Lord's authorized me to build up, not destroy.
