New Testament

I Corinthians Chapter 14

Love, and desire gifts, but prefer first prophecy:
Prophets build the church, tongues self-edifies only.
Let tongue speakers seek the gift of interpreting,
Pray, sing with the spirit, and with understanding.
I thank God that I speak in tongues more than you all,
But to build I'd rather speak five words you'd recall.
Others will think you're mad, hearing strange tongues from you,
But prophecy convicts! Bring psalms and doctrines too.
Limit tongue-speakers to two or three per meeting -
If no interpreter, they shouldn't be speaking.
Judge prophecies, again just have by two or three.
Let women keep quiet; do all things decently.
