Christ, coming to His home town, preached but was dismissed:
"Just a carpenter...whose family's here!" - folks hissed.
A prophet's honoured, Christ said, but not by his kin!
Their unbelief blocked any mighty work therein.
Sent preaching in twos with pow'r to heal, Christ's men spread.
Herod deemed Him John the Baptist, back from the dead!
To rest His own, Christ went to a desert place, then
With 5 loaves and 2 fishes fed five thousand men.
Afterwards He prayed on a mount while His men sailed,
But seeing a storm come, walked to them on the sea, hailed
Them, then calmed the winds - shocked all, His glory revealed!
In Gennesaret His garment's hem, if touched, healed!
