A tomb-dweller, possessed, fierce, feared in the region,
Met Christ, who commanded out the demons, called Legion.
He gave leave for them in two thousand swine to flee...
They thundered down a steep place, and drowned in the sea.
Those in the district, scared, chased Christ away,
Telling him to witness, He bade the healed man stay.
Later, a synagogue ruler, Jairus, begged Christ
To go with him and save his dying daughter's life.
En route, a woman, 12 years with issue of blood,
Touched the hem of His garment, and was healed for good!
At Jairus' house, those there said his girl had died...
"She sleeps!" Christ said. They laughed. He revived her inside!
