"One day the Temple stones will be toppled!" said Christ!
So His men asked how the world would end - His advice:
"False Christs, wars, earthquakes, famines, and troubles will come;
As the gospel spreads to all, you'll be spurned, beaten.
Speak as the Holy Ghost leads, though men will be mean,
And flee when that which Daniel foretold is seen!
Sorrows worse than men will e'er know will mark this phase,
But to let the elect live God'll cut short those days.
The sun and moon will grow dark, stars fall, then'll be shown
The Son of man in the clouds to gather His own.
Check the signs - when the fig tree grows leaves, summer's near,
Watch, pray - you don't know when the Master will appear!"
