Galatians Chapter 3

O foolish Galatians, Spirit-birthed yet bewitched!
Will the law's works bring the Spirit's? Will flesh be hitched?
Abraham believed God, deemed righteous for his faith,
In him all (by faith) will be "blessed", as scripture saith;
The law curses, saves none; "the just live by faith", free
Through Christ, a curse for us, as writ, hung on a tree.
God's promises to Abraham's "seed" (Christ), not "seeds",
Law (by four hundred and thirty years) lags, not leads.
Added for sins, this law, our passing schoolmaster,
Was giv'n, not through one (God), but a mediator;
It gave no life, but pointed to Christ down the years,
We're His by faith, baptized one, Abram's seed and heirs.
