After three days in Caesaria, Festus left For Jerusalem, where the Jews, planning Paul's death, Begged him to bring Paul. Issuing a denial, Festus convened, Caesaria, a new trial. When to the Jews' accusations Paul had replied, Festus asked if in Jerusalem he'd be tried. Paul appealed to Caesar! "To Caeasar you'll be sent!" Festus said, after consulting with those present. Then King Agrippa, told of Paul while visiting Festus, wanted and held an audience with him. "Examine him," Festus said, "and relieve my plight - When I send him to Rome, I know not what to write!"
