Acts Chapter 18

   

Coming to Corinth, Paul stayed with Jew Aquila,
Who was a tentmaker with his wife Priscilla.
He worked with them, a tentmaker also by trade,
Preached, rejoined by Silas and Timothy for aid.
Then the Lord said to Paul in a night vision: "Don't fear!
Speak, I'm with thee. You're safe. I've many people here!"
He stayed 18 months, though 'fore gov'nor Gallio
The Jews, irate, once hauled him, but he was let go.
He then sailed to Ephesus, Asia, left a flock,
Thence to Jerusalem, and back to Antioch.
Apollos, learned Jew, eloquent, at Ephesus
Through Aquila and Priscilla found, preached, Jesus.
