In Thessalonica Paul preached Christ to the Jews, And some, many Greeks also, believed the good news. The other Jews raised a mob, and captured Jason, Host to Paul and Silas; the said pair, not taken, Escaped by night to Berea, there well received, Where the Jews studied the scriptures, and hence believed. Then Jews from Thessalonica came, stirred up strife - Once more, this time to Athens, Paul fled for his life. On Mars Hill forum, he preached 'gainst the idolatry, Ignorance and superstition of that city. When he said that Jesus from the dead was risen, Though certain believed, he was held in derision.
