In Caesarea a Gentile, Cornelius, God-fearing, praying, saw an angel bid him thus: "Send for Peter!" - who meanwhile in vision thrice saw "Unclean" creatures he was urged "eat!", 'gainst Jewish law! He argued, but "what God's cleansed don't call common!" heard! Taking some brethren with him, he obeyed God's word, Went to Cornelius' home - packed - and at the scene, Told all how God had showed him to call none unclean! The Jews have no dealings with the Gentiles, but lo Peter preached Christ, bold, and while he yet spake - just so The Holy Ghost fell, and the Gentiles in tongues spoke! "Can't we baptise these?" Peter asked! "We see God's vote!"
