To Bethsaida pool, Jerusalem, Jesus came,
And healed a man who had been thirty-eight years lame!
"Rise, take up your bed, walk!" Jesus said, and he did,
But it was the Sabbath day that Jesus so bid.
The Jews, offended at this "work", made outcry,
Countered Jesus : "My Father works, and so do I!"
"The Father loves the Son; greater works will He do,
That, as all honour the Father, they'll the Son too,
To Whom Father has put all judgement in His hand,
Only those'll live who hear my words, the Son of Man.
John, my works, and my Father are witnesses, see,
Search the Scriptures; you believed Moses, believe Me!"
