Later, to a wedding in Cana, Galilee
Jesus, mother and disciples, invited be.
Wine ran short - Jesus' mother to Him did plead
And He, though minded at first not to take heed,
Changed water to wine - tasting better than that gone!
Of His many miracles this was His first one.
He and His brethren then at Capernaum stayed brief;
From thence, at Passover, to the Temple Our Chief
Came and cleansed, driving out money-changers with whip!
Being consumed with zeal for God's house, as writ.
"Destroy this temple, and in three days", then said He
"I'll raise it", meaning the Temple of His body!
