For those in darkness, Christ'll come as a night thief; With sudden woe, as childhood pains, when looked for least. Watch; be sober; you're of light, not darkness. Put on Breastplates of faith and love; salvation's helmet don. Those who sleep, drunk, are of the night, to wrath consigned, But Christ died to grant life to those with Him aligned. Esteem your elders; be at peace; wrong-doers warn, Comfort the feeble-minded, patient; return good for scorn; Always rejoice; pray non-stop; give thanks in all things; Quench not the Spirit, despise not prophesyings; Prove all things; shun the look of sin; may you not fall! Pray for us; kisses, and this letter, share with all.
