FootnoteThis is a record of Paul's correspondence with the believers in the city of Colossae (situated then in what is now modern Turkey), written while he was in prison at Rome. It is similar in content to his letter to the Ephesians, and also countered certain errors which were creeping into the church. The letter's bearer, Tychicus, carried as well Paul's letter to Philemon in Colossae in connection with Philemon's runaway but now converted slave, Onesimus, who accompanied him on the journey.
