MalachiMalachi, 4 chapters, writ to returned exiles, Calls complacent ones to renewal; prophesies (Chapter 3) that the Lord will suddenly appear In His temple, purifying, drawing men near, Purging like a refiner's fire, so they Him bless, And bring to Him a pure off'ring in righteousness. God urges: "You've robbed Me; tithes to the storehouse bring!" "Prove Me thus: heaven's windows will be opening!" "The Sun of righteousness will rise," chapter 4 sings, "To those that fear My Name, with healing in His wings!" The book closes saying Elijah will be sent Fore the dreadful day of the Lord that men repent.
