Christ died, rose the third day, seen by many, e'en me - So how say some of you the dead rise not? Surely If Christ be not risen, our faith's in vain! Doldrums! But He lives, firstfruits of them that sleep, till He comes To serve God all things, death, and Himself, on one dish - But if the dead rise not, we may do as we wish! Some of you ask: "With what body will the dead rise?" Fool, a seed, sowed, does not bear fruit, save it first dies! Sowed corrupt, nat'ral, we'll be raised with heav'nly life! We'll swap Adam's earthly image for that of Christ! The trump will sound, we'll be changed - goodbye death and pain, Swallowed up in vict'ry! You labour not in vain!
