What then? Should we sin, so God's grace is magnified?
God forbid! Dead to sin, we must leave it aside!
Our old man's crucified with Christ, from sin we're freed,
Baptized, we've died with Jesus; new life with Him lead.
As Christ died, likewise reckon yourselves dead to sin,
But now alive to God through the risen Lord within.
Don't let sin be your master, your body subdue;
Yield your members to God; let Him have all of you.
Sin will not rule; you are under grace, not law, hid.
So because of this should you sin? No, God forbid!
When you served sin, as wages death was your reward;
Serve God, His gift's eternal life through Christ our Lord.
