For we're many, each with a different ministry,
Whether prophesying with faith, ministering,
Teaching, exhorting, giving, ruling, or aiding.
Abhor evil, and sincerely love your brother,
Be affectionate, preferring one another;
Zealous, fervent, serving, rejoicing, patient in woes,
Pray always, give to those in need, and bless your foes.
Share in joys and tears, be of the same humble mind,
Recall vengeance is God's, return not kind for kind.
