Christ told the story of a dishonest steward,
Who, hearing that he was to be fired by his lord,
To get friends, called his master's debtors, slashed their debt
"Those bad with little," said Christ, "with much are inept!
You can't serve and love two masters - God and money!"
The Pharisees were stung - to them wealth was honey!
Of a diseased beggar, Lazarus, Christ did tell:
From a rich man's gate, he died, went to heav'n; to hell
Went the rich man, and there for a water drop screeched!
Abraham said: "Roles are reversed! You can't be reached!"
"Send Lazarus to warn my kin!" the man pleaded,
Heard: "No prophet, e'en one from the dead, is heeded!"
