Next I saw a door opened in heav'n, and that done,
I heard a voice like a trumpet that told me "come,
I'll show thee the future", and then I saw a throne -
With One who shone like a jasper and sardine stone -
A rainbow around, with twenty-four seats all told
Seating elders clothed in white, wearing crowns of gold.
I saw four beasts midst thunderings and voices' cries
Like a lion, calf, man, and eagle, full of eyes,
Each with six wings, saying : "Holy, Holy, Holy,
Which was, and is, and is to come - God Almighty."
Casting down their crowns in worship, the elders fall
Saying "You're worthy, O Lord, you've created all!"
