New Testament

I John Chapter 4

Beloved, try the spirits, whether they're of God,
For many false, confessing not Christ, are abroad.
The antichrist spirit already is unfurled,
But greater's God in you than he who's in the world.
The world hears its own kind, but godly ones us, proof
Of a spirit of error, likewise one of truth.
Beloved, let's love one another; God is love,
He's shown it through sending His sole Son from above.
Confess Him, love, and you'll dwell in God, He in you,
Judgement day you'll be bold, love expelling fear too.
We love God (unseen) since He first loved us, but we
Must first, as He commands, love the brother we see.
