As false prophets once came there'll be false teachers now
Whose errors will seduce many; but witness how
God chained sinning angels in dark hell, the flood sent,
Burnt Sodom and Gomorrah, saved Lot from torment ...
God knows how to save the just, and destroy these
Evil men, who fearlessly revile dignities
Whom even angels, greater in power, don't accuse -
Such men'll perish - spots, blemishes, lustful, they choose
To covet, going Balaam's route (rebuked by an ass!),
Dry wells, storm clouds, to eternal darkness they'll pass.
Their words corrupt, from truth back to lies they retire -
Like dogs back to their vomit, or washed pigs to mire.
