Were faith-fruit of ones glimpsing God's city in heav'n.
Abraham, off'ring up his son, in faith acted,
Isaac, Jacob, Joseph - their words faith transacted.
Moses, harlot Rehab, and Gideon faith chose,
Barak, Samson, Jephthae, David, Samuel - those
And the prophets by faith triumphed, and suffered thus,
But received not God's promise, which He saved for us.
