Dead, hid, risen with Christ seek things of heav'n not earth, When Christ, Our Life, appears, in glory we shall berth. Lust and coveting bring down God's wrath; to such die - Put off anger, malice, cursing - and don't lie! The old man is put off, you've now put on the new - Where Christ is all, and in all - in both Greek and Jew. Put on meekness and patience. Love; forgive like Christ; Let thankfulness, songs, peace, and the Word guide your life. Wives, submit to husbands; men, love those wives you've got. Children, obey parents; fathers, provoke them not. Servants, obey masters - do this as to the Lord, He who treats all alike will grant you a reward.
