If you've been saved by Jesus from all of your sin
He'll give you the Holy Spirit Who dwells within,
By terms "the Comforter" or "Holy Ghost" referred
Highlighted in scripture within God's Holy Word.
Into all truth He'll guide showing Jesus every day,
Coming right alongside to help you when you pray.
Making the Word flower, He'll bring understanding,
Filling you with power to fight darkness and sin.
Seek Him now this hour and by His gifts be blessed!
The Spirit will shower as your need is confessed!
Ask and pray: Jesus, wholly meet this my desire!
Baptize me with the Holy Ghost and His fire!.
