Then God appeared - from a whirlwind He gave command:
"Arise Job! Answer! Declare, if you understand!
Who stretched forth the earth? What was the construction ploy?
Who placed its cornerstone, when angels sang for joy?
Who said to the waters: "proud waves, turn about face?"
Can you speak to the dawn? Cause it to know its place?
Have you walked ocean floors? Death's gates? Do you recall
Where light dwells, darkness berths? Are you old, to know all?
Who makes a way for rivers, or lightning, with thunders?
The rain, dew, snow, and ice, - whose womb birthed such wonders?
Can you bring forth the stars? Feed the lion and raven?
Who can count the clouds? Who gave man his wisdom?"
