In the beginning, everything God created:
On day 1, summoned light, darkness separated;
On day 2, from water Heaven's firmament brought forth,
On day 3, Earth's dry land, plants and trees given birth.
On day 4, the stars, sun and moon their light displayed.
On day 5, all kinds of fish and birds were arrayed.
On day 6, on land all manner of creatures trod,
Finally man was made in the image of God.
Both male and female God's hand of creation birthed,
Then He blessed them, and gave them rule o'er all the earth.
God looked over all of His creation that day,
And declared it was excellent in every way.
