EzekielEzekiel, forty-eight chapters, prophesies
While living with the Jewish Babylon exiles.
Reminding worshipping false gods has brought downfall,
He assures God wishes a new pact with them all.
In visions he sees their sins, but God's throne of thrones,
And how God'll yet form flesh on the Jews' dead dry bones.
God's judgements on the Jews' foes we're giv'n too, to wit:
Woe to Ammon, Moab, Edom, Tyre and Egypt!
Chapter 21: Christ is glimpsed, taking the crown,
Thirty-four, He's David, Shepherd, Plant of Renown;
The last eight chapters outline a Temple to come,
Where the Messiah as "Prince" reigns in His Kingdom.
